As part of our commitment to enhancing the overall physical, emotional, and intellectual development of our children with disabilities, we provided treatment and educational programming as well as three nutritious meals per day. One of the highlights of March was our Parent-Teacher Meeting, during which we met with the families of the children we serve and shared their progress toward becoming self-sufficient individuals. Our organization carried the spirit of the Christmas celebration we held this past December into our everyday activities; this was evident in the incredible transformation of these children’s perception of themselves as they gained confidence and skills in taking care of themselves.
