Some of them are masks, sanitizers, gloves, medicines, and beds at the hospital.
Case study of a family whom AGWO helped during the pandemic:-
During the first wave of Covid-19, our NGO helped a family. The lady was all alone to feed her children. Her husband already died due to Covid only. She was devoted by her family’s situation. In her family, she has three children so now she had to take care of four-member all alone. But, unfortunately, due to the lockdown, she could not get any job. With each passing day, their survival was getting harder. One day when our volunteers reached the location for food and ration distribution. They heard about them and immediately reached out to that family and provided them with food.
You cannot imagine the way they were looking at us and blessing us. That overwhelmed welcome and love just mesmerized us. We then realized a small act of kindness can change the whole life of an individual. From that day till today our NGO regularly visits such locations and helps many people.
Covid waves are continuously hitting the people after a gap of some time. But the impact lasts for longer. Our NGO had supported many families and also supported us today. We follow the guidelines provided by the World Health Organization. This is important to follow the guidelines of WHO as this is the only way to get protected from this disease on its own.
